ADVERTISING TELESALES CO-ORDINATOR

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm. 32.5 hours per week.

Salary: £11.44 Per hour + Competitive Commission (increasing with length of service) Total OTE £25,000 - £30,000

(Commission structure available on request)

RESPONSIBLE TO: SALES MANAGER

  1. To make outgoing calls to prospective clients who theoretically should wish to advertise within our publications due to the nature of their business and the nature of the publication we are contacting them about - a list of categories of businesses is provided as is an area listing which confirms where the calls should be made

  2. A call duration of 2hr 30min is required- per day (based on a 9am-5pm working day)

  3. If a sales letter is required, fill in the relevant document and pass to the person responsible for the issue of sales letters.

  4. Once a sale has been made it is the responsibility of the sales person to raise the relevant documentation

1.) A booking form / Job bag

2.) A credit card form if the client has paid by credit card at the time of booking

  1. Once the paperwork has been raised and sent to the client by the admin team at Head Office a customer satisfaction call is made by the Sales Exec to check the following

1.) Paperwork has been received

2.) Check if their artwork is okay or needs to be adjusted, if it needs to be adjusted either take the adjustments over the phone or give them design email address to send the adjustments/updated advert to

3.) If payment has not been made then remind them of their 5% discount opportunity and give them the date that the payment has to be with us by, if they are not prepaying for their advert confirm an invoice will follow for the full amount in due course.

  1. 7 days after an invoice has been raised if no payment has been made the sales person will be notified of the 'outstanding debt', it will then be their responsibility to chase the debt until payment has been made, if payment is not received after 3 weeks of chasing the sales value is taken off the sales person (debt potentially uncollectable) until such time payment is made, at which point the sales is re-instated to the Sales Exec.

  2. To assist the Sales Manager in any other tasks as may be required.
