Our Client, a Swindon Borough Council, is seeking an Experienced social worker for the Assessment and Child protection Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- We now have opportunities to join our Assessment and Child Protection Service (ACP). The ACP team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection.
- The service is provided by Experienced Social Workers, who carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies, gathering information for the assessment and analysing the potential risk to any child or young person.
- After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long-Term Locality Teams.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Experience of working with children, young people, and families.
- Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience
