Production Manager

I am pleased to say I am currently working with a manufacturing client supplying into automotive industries around the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all Production processes on a daily basis
- Keeping the department/ Workshop up to date with any Health and Safety policies
- Liaising with other departments to ensure the processes are all in line with each other (Quality, Engineering, Procurement)
- Implementing Lean manufacturing so this would be a great thing to have experience with previously
- Overseeing repairs of the production machinery to minimize downtime
- Assisting with the training and progression plans for the staff in the department
- Will be in charge of managing a team of production staff
To be considered for this position you will come from an automotive background or a manufacturing type background, anything relating to automotive would be great.
