Technical Author- Liverpool (Hybrid)- Up to £60k

A leading financial and legal services businesses in Liverpool, with an average year-on-year growth of 20%, they're at the point of levelling up and scaling their entire tech team. They are looking for a Technical Author to create engaging, informative, and high quality technical documentation for the business.

This company have excelled as a close-knit ambitious team who have embarked on a huge digital transformation and with this vast improvements to all of their core products.

As their Technical Author, you will be working closely with the businesses product, QA and software engineering team, taking ownership of producing technical documentation to create user guides which accurately deliver training to end clients and customers.

What they're looking for in you:

  • Autonomous, technically minded individual with a background writing user guides and documentation for in house teams
  • Working closely with the wider engineering team, infrastructure, cloud and support teams to create OpRes documentation and resources
  • Individuals with curiosity and the ability to understand and navigate technical jargon - preferably with experience creating documentation in a fast paced software development environment.
  • Naturally they expect excellent written and verbal communication skills as you'll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders
