We are looking for a motivated Training & Employment Advisor to join our client's dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs, providing career guidance, and supporting job outcomes for DWP Universal Credit customers in collaboration with local employers and educational institutions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with DWP, candidates, and local employers to expand training opportunities, including running training programs, workshops, and sector-based initiatives.
- Engage with regional employers to identify job opportunities that align with our training programs, securing interviews and employment for learners.
- Plan, organize, and conduct training workshops and sessions, create engaging content, deliver effective presentations, and assess participant progress.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations for effective marketing and promotion of courses.
- Interview potential learners, provide guidance, conduct initial assessments, and communicate support requirements.
- Maintain learner tracking details and coordinate with tutors and assessors.
- Develop relationships with employers to secure employment opportunities for students post-qualification.
- Attend promotional events and represent the organisation with professionalism.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Experience in sales and marketing, including cold calling.
- Administrative experience.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel within and occasionally outside the region.
- Proficiency in IT skills.
