Your Reception Teaching Assistant role will involve:
- Leading groups of children in core curriculum areas such as Phonics, Guided Reading, Writing and Maths
- Making and recording accurate assessments
- Supporting children with additional needs
- Managing behaviour in a positive style
- Maintaining a calm and productive atmosphere in the classroom
- Working collaboratively within an effective team
To be eligible to apply, you must have Right to Work in the UK, professional references covering the last 2 full years, experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to process a new DBS.
