Application Support Coordinator – Bracknell - £115 per day (inside IR35) (£30k equivalent) - Contract (6 month rolling)

As an Application Support Coordinator - the first line of support to internal business users - you will be a vital part of their Business Solutions Team, ensuring the stability and efficiency of their core banking systems and other operational applications. The Role

As an Application Support Coordinator, you will assist the Business Solutions Team in the ongoing support and development of key operational applications. Your main objective will be to maintain the stability of their core banking systems, associated sub-systems, and document management systems, ensuring the efficiency and usability of these systems for their business departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management:

Manage production support incidents raised by the business through to resolution/closure. Record, track, and document all actions taken using ticketing systems like JIRA and Service Now.

  • User Support:

Assist business users with any production questions or issues, liaising with suppliers and the ISD Team to achieve satisfactory resolutions.

  • System Setup:

Set up new users, dealer accounts, and profiles; resolve password issues and ensure seamless access to systems.

  • Task Management:

Prioritize and manage multiple open incidents and business-as-usual (BAU) tasks, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Documentation:

Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports, and document process flows to identify efficiencies and suggest improvements.

  • Data Requests:

Log incidents or ad-hoc data requests, ensuring all business-raised tasks are addressed effectively.

  • Communication:

Talk employees through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.

  • Stay Updated:

Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.

About You

To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Here are the qualifications and experience we're looking for:

Required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Good organizational and planning skills with a methodical approach.
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the financial services or automotive sectors.
  • Exposure to banking systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and MicroStrategy.
  • Familiarity with using JIRA and Service Now for incident management.
  • Experience supporting internal teams.

The Offer

  • Flexible Working Hours:

While the contracts state a minimum of 35 hours per week, they offer flexibility with daily flex-time
