SJC Partners is currently recruiting a Corporate Finance Executive position on behalf one of Yorkshire's most reputable Corporate Finance boutiques.
This team is highly regarded in the Yorkshire deals market and have made significant traction in the marketplace, winning and completing on an impressive list of sale side deal mandates (typically in the £5m-£50m deal value range though on occasion can exceed this) and have an excellent pipeline they are confident of converting. Consequently, they seek an Executive to take a key role in the business across multiple transactions during the course of 2024 and beyond.
This team is made up of some of the most profile deal leaders in the region and depending on the deal type and size it is not uncommon for Executives to report directly to Partners on deals. As a result, this role will suit candidates keen to build up their expertise rapidly by working closely with highly experienced and capable deal leaders. The successful individual will have significant responsibility early on including financial modelling and preparing of financial forecasts, owning Information Memorandum, assisting with the preparation of business plan narrative and sitting in on management meetings (and soon be running).
Whilst prior deal advisory experience would help, applicants could well be currently in audit looking to move into the deals space (you could be at the latter stages of a professional qualification or fully qualified). More importantly you will possess the traits of a corporate financier namely sales flair, strong negotiation skills and an understanding of the 'art of the deal'. This represents a unique and highly desirable role offering the chance early on to be involved in all stages of the deal cycle from conception through to execution.
