We're seeking a talented individual to join our Payment Services Team in London, which is responsible for processing various cash payment into and out for clients, processing cheque payment for our clients and ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the regulatory environment.
As a Payments Specialist, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Processing Cheque deposits and reflecting balance on appropriate systems.
- Adhering to Market Currency deadlines ensuring best practice for client funds.
- Processing Payments for clients in various currencies with attention to detail.
- Investigation and resolution of Payments in/out reconciliation Breaks
- Perform second checks on teams' payment Orders when required.
- Assist Team with the completion of statistics and daily tasks associated with Treasury Payments functions and requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Operations experience gained within a financial institution, advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel
- Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner
- Payment/Cash experience preferred but not essential
