The Graduate:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in education, or a related subject.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality education to young children.
  • Commitment to following safeguarding procedures.
  • A natural ability to form positive relationships with young learners.
  • Previous experience of working with pupils, or in a school setting, is advantageous but not essential.

The Role

As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support young pupils across the syllabus in both 1-2-1 and small group bases to ensure they achieve their full potential. You will aid teaching staff in planning and delivering stimulating lessons that adhere to the national curriculum, and in assessing classwork and providing constructive feedback. To build strong bonds with both pupils and staff, you will enthusiastically partake in activities with the wider school community and aid staff in leading extracurricular sessions.
