We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles for the delivery of goods, adhering to VOSA commercial driver regulations.
- Ensure timely and professional delivery of materials, representing the company positively at all delivery points.
Warehouse Operations:
- Load goods onto delivery vehicles and offload materials upon arrival.
- Assist in the general tidying and maintenance of the office and stores areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for delivery.
- Unload goods received and ensure they are checked and stored correctly.
- Follow and maintain goods receiving administration procedures.
Stock Management:
- Participate in the annual stock-take process.
- Regularly check and update stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records.
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy and guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
General Duties:
- Manage time and activities effectively, always aligning with the company's best interests.
- Perform any other duties as required to assist in the smooth running of the branch.
Working Hours:
- 45 hours per week, with the inclusion of Saturday mornings as required and scheduled by management.
Requirements:
- Full UK manual driving license.
- Ability to adhere to commercial driving regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Physical ability to load and unload goods.
