We are currently recruiting for a Global Reinsurance business who are looking for a Claims Technician to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid working role based in London.
This role will consist of providing management and settlement of pre-existing claims as well as dealing with developing claims.
Role
- Reach out to brokers and cedants for updates on static claims and obtain the status.
- Accurately input and update claims data/information in the system following best practices.
- Prepare and present clear and concise reports, both written and verbal, to senior management.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with all relevant parties, including cedants, brokers, co-reinsurers, and legal representatives, in managing and analysing reinsurance claim exposures.
- Ensure all policy obligations are fulfilled and customers are treated fairly.
- Adhere to all compliance requirements, maintain confidentiality, and represent the company by modelling, enforcing, and following all company policies.

Experience
- Analytical Skills
- Proven 3-5 years Claims experience
- Negotiation skills
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Salary - £50,000
Working pattern - Initially in the office with Hybrid becoming available after settled (2 days in officer per week)
Hours - 9 - 5pm
