We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our team in the Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our care services to meet and exceed regulatory and legislative requirements, aiming for a ‘Good' standard with aspirations to achieve ‘Outstanding'. This role is pivotal in fostering a strong safeguarding culture to protect service users and ensure staff are well-versed in safeguarding practices.
Day to Day of the role:
- Lead and maintain a strong safeguarding culture, ensuring service users are protected from harm.
- Ensure all team members are fully informed about safeguarding protocols and procedures.
- Implement individualised care plans that cater to the specific needs of each service user.
- Develop a high-performing team through active leadership and engagement.
- Play a key role in the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
- Identify areas for improvement within the service and take responsibility for implementing enhancements.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of both the company and the services provided.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or higher within the social care sector.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in social care.
- Proven track record of managing and leading a team.
- Level 5 diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
