Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for Class 2 Dustcart drivers to work for a client based in the Southampton area. This position is a 6-month contract starting immediately with the potential of going full time for the right candidate within this period.
About this Class 2 Dustcart position:
- 6-month temporary position starting immediately
- Monday to Friday
- 5:30am-6:30am start time
- 8-hour shifts
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle
- Collecting bin bags and placing them into dustcart vehicle
Requirements from you as a HGV Driver:
- Full UK driving licence which includes a Class 2 (Cat c)
- Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
- A valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Happy to heavy lift
- Newly qualified drivers welcome
- Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
- Great time keeping skills
- Ensure all tacho hours are recorded correctly
