Senior Payroll Clerk

Senior Payroll Clerk required for a brand new, permanent role in Darlington. This is a full-time role, created to meet the needs of a growing business and some hybrid working is available.

The Role

Working in a friendly team, you will process a number of different, and often large, payrolls for a variety of different businesses. These are done weekly, monthly and fortnightly as required.

Duties will include all aspects of payroll including SMP/SSP and payroll calculations coupled with liaising with the businesses to deal with any queries or discrepancies.

The Person

The team offer a full end to end payroll services to businesses within a range of different sectors and so experience of practice or bureau payroll is essential.

A working knowledge of Sage Payroll or similar is also essential.

Remuneration

£28,000 - £30,000
