Human Resources Administrator - Salary £28,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Hybrid Role - Farnborough

Our client is searching for a junior HR Administrator to join their HR team working alongside a team of 3. You will be responsible for inputting HR information onto the payroll systems, managing the employee flexible benefit systems and handling a range of other generalist HR administrative functions.

Candidates will ideally have some experience in payroll and be confident in data handling and report production, and the use of excel. This is an ideal role for a junior candidate who wants to progress a career in HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for payroll admin, updating the system with new starters, pay increases etc, liaising with finance where necessary
  • Manage the Companies employee flexible benefits packages, including the pension scheme admin etc.
  • Recruitment admin - liaison with agencies, arrange interviews, collate feedback, arrange personality profile assessments
  • Assist with creation of new employee offers, contracts and job descriptions
  • Co-ordination of HR inductions, arranging meeting rooms, eventually conduct HR inductions
  • Point of contact for Self-Service issues, setting up new employee accounts, training for new employees, resetting passwords, assisting employees with queries relating to their HR data
  • Run HR reports, collate data as required for scorecards
  • General admin, filing, letter writing, setting up personnel files, checking all employee paperwork is received
  • Payroll admin for multiple payroll companies, inputting temporary data into payroll spreadsheet (such as overtime, staff sales, bonuses, unpaid leave and leaver payments)
  • Payroll new starter and leaver salary calculations

Candidate Skills and Experience Required:

  • Payroll and general HR admin experience, minimum 2 years' experience
  • Experienced Microsoft user, advanced Excel knowledge of Pivot Tables and V Look-up
  • Experienced in the use of HR systems / HR software and reporting tools
  • Well educated to A level standard or equivalent as a minimum
  • Strong communication skills confident and able to handle internal and external communications
  • Ability to work and process requests in a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • Good team player but also able to work independently
