Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in Old Kilpatrick.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 5.15pm
Hourly Rate: £20.27, OT 1.5x (usually worked on Friday)
Daily Duties –
- Mechanical assembly of lapping, polishing and cutting equipment
- Reading technical drawings and schematics to undertake tasks
- Electrical assembly e.g. panel wiring, programming PLC or hardware
Candidate Requirements –
- Time served with mechanical discipline
- Experience of assembling electro-mechanical equipment
- Can use manual machines and hand tools during build process
