Supply Chain Assistant

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5.00pm
We are excited to present an ongoing temporary for a motivated and creative individual to join our client's leading UK supply chain and purchasing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact within a positive and dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Match purchase orders with supplies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Create and maintain files and documents on the SAP system
- Support the team with regular stock checks to manage inventory levels.
- Analyse and report on out-of-stock products to minimise disruption.
- Conduct monthly consumables checks to maintain supply levels.
- Handle general purchasing tasks for office and store requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with Sales and Purchasing teams to align objectives and streamline processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP .
- Strong analytical skills for effective reporting and problem-solving.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive in sourcing products and managing supplier relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to support project management tasks.
