Finance Manager
Salary: £25,600 - £28,800 actual (Subject to experience) for 24 hours/week (FTE £40,000-£45,000)
Hybrid flexible working option (mandatory Wednesday office-based) - Bradford City AFC, Bradford
Part time - 24 hours per week - Flexible days

Role Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations, ensuring effective governance, and providing professional insights to the CEO, SLT, and Board of Trustees. The role also includes shared oversight of Health and Safety, Insurance, and GDPR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic financial planning and monitoring
- Overseeing day-to-day financial operations and policies
- Managing relations with auditors, bankers, and payroll services
- Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory reports
- Leading the annual budgeting process
- Supporting funding bid strategies and financial data management
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and SORPs
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of financial management experience
- Part qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT qualified
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience with management accounts, statutory accounts, and payroll
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Knowledge of the third sector desirable
