Salary: Up to £26,000

We are seeking an experienced Showroom Sales Executive to join our busy and supportive sales team at a prestigious interiors company in Winchester. This client-facing role requires you to work independently while leveraging your exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Although primarily based in our Winchester office, occasional flexibility to work from our London office is needed.

The Role:

  • Client Management: Oversee a portfolio of UK client accounts, catering to both retail and trade sectors.
  • Product Consultation: Offer expert advice on product suitability and inspiration to clients.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Enhance communication and collaboration with internal teams, including the London office.
  • Sales Targets: Focus on achieving monthly sales targets and continuously improve your product knowledge.
  • Showroom Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Winchester showroom.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, always ensuring an exceptional service experience.
  • Order Processing: Handle tasks such as raising orders, processing payments, packing items, and assisting customers with their purchases.
  • Communication: Answer and transfer calls, assist visitors, and manage the main buzzer.
  • Stock Management: Replenish stationery stock as needed.
  • Event Participation: Attend and prepare for annual warehouse sales.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various adhoc administrative tasks.

The Person:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in high-end luxury retail or knowledge of the interior design industry is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to identify sales opportunities and demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

This full-time, office-based role operates Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is parking on site and many other amazing benefits.
