My global client based near Knutsford has an urgent requirement for an IT Support Engineer with proven expertise in SCCM builds, to join on an initial 6 month contract with possible extensions thereafter.
While the role is based close to Knutsford, public transport links may be challenging - this role would be best suited to someone who drives and has their own vehicle.
REQUIRED SKILLS: -
- Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments
- Enough expertise to identify and recommend changes/improvements to the process and infrastructure design.
- Expertise to Manage the Build through SCCM & MDT end to end
- Expertise to Create Build from Scratch as per business requirements
- Extensive experience in DHCP, AD for covering build requirements
- Great understanding of Scripting WQL, SQL and PowerShell for SCCM
- Strong knowledge of Registry
- Monitor ISV and patch releases
- Full understanding of downloading and deploying MS patches using WSUS within SCCM
- Experience of working with OS tools i.e. MDT, WAIK, Sysprep, WIM, WinPE
- Experience on creation of application virtualization packages (App-V)
