An opportunity has arisen for an HR Generalist to lead and enhance the Human Resources department within an established Industrial / Manufacturing firm based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of HR duties, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.

Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the company.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Profile

A successful HR Generalist should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR generalist, preferably within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR Information Systems.
