Fantastic opportunity to join large National Accountancy firm in a predominantly advisory focused global mobility tax role working in the firm's Birmingham office with hybrid working in place. Ideally suited to an Assistant Manager seeking a step-up to Manager level or an existing GM Tax Manager.
Your new role
Working with clients ranging in size, you will work on discrete advisory projects to provide guidance on a range of tax implications of having a globally mobile workforce. You will manage your portfolio effectively, liaising regularly with clients overseeing the compliance cycle and annual reporting requirements. You may support with aspects such as security requirements, guiding businesses around remote workers and their tax requirements, supporting inbound and outbound workers on the implications of their visits, providing guidance on pensions and much more.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be currently working at Assistant Manager level or equivalent within a Global Mobility/ Expatriate Tax role ideally with exposure to both tax compliance and advisory work. Relevant tax/ accountancy qualifications would be preferable (ATT/ CTA/ ACCA/ ACA) along with excellent communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships internally and externally.
