The Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the classroom, working closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students with SEND. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs)
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students to enhance their learning experience
- Promoting a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere
- Collaborating with the teaching team and other professionals to create a holistic learning environment
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working with students with SEND, ideally within a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and empathetic nature
- The ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of students
