Description
IT ERP System support, data management
- Provide first-line support for users, including system admin tasks such as login assistance, access & permissions management, user addition/removal, and running reports.
- Support daily operations of the existing ERP systems and perform system diagnostics, including analysing error logs and installing updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, issues, and resolutions.
- Assist in system training, and user induction, and promote best practices for use.
- Offer deskside assistance, requiring office presence with some flexibility.
- Work with business/functional leads to ensure regional ERP systems have consistent and resilient data platforms to support reporting and efficient operation
- ETL data for reporting
Project & Improvement Work
- Gathering, documenting and managing business requirements and process flow charts
- Create guidance and process documentation to support new systems and assist in training staff.
- Provide hands on analysis, design, testing, training, implementation and support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques
- Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building
- Ensure ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes
- Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with risk management and change management on projects
- Work closely with identified process owners. Participate in user and task analysis to maintain process owner's perspective. This may include coaching and mentoring via workshops and/or transition support activities.
- Responsible for preparing and supporting the preparation of Functional Designs documents for custom development.
- Participate in transitioning the solution requirements to 3rd Party development teams to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements (where applicable)
- Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for Functional, System Verification and User acceptance testing.
- Participate in quality management reviews, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes, and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfil the defined requirements.
- Build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally.
Profile
Essential
- ERP solution expert - ERP implementation experience
- Experience of working with Customer service, Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing & warehouse Modules
- Knowledge/ of design to implementation methodologies - with experience gained on ERP implementation project
- Broad IT knowledge - specifically on large type ERP systems (Syspro/Monitor) and with applications, storage, networks, IT infrastructure
- Basic SQL skills to run queries (T-SQL)
- Excellent Word, Excel, VISIO, Power Point skills, MS Office technologies
Preferred
- CRM Exposure
- SnowFlake experience
- BMNP 2.0 or process mapping
- Understanding of general project management processes & tools
