SUPERVISOR
Rate – Competitive (inside IR35 + Lodge Contribution)
Location – Plymouth, Devon
Duration – Long Term contract opportunity (12 Months +)
I am currently recruiting for a Supervisor to work on a major civil engineering project based in Devonport, Plymouth.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
- Liaising with the client, other construction professionals
- Coordinating and supervising construction workers
- Selecting tools and materials
- Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintaining quality control procedures
- Ordering Plant and Materials
- Collation of documents and As Built Records
- Cost and Programme Management
- Management and Supervision of Temporary Works
- Record Keeping and report writing.
- Client liaison and coordination/interface
SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in piling, drainage, earthworks, RC, Construction, Nuclear, MOD, heavy civil works is required
- Degree educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Hold SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work, Fire Marshall, CSCS
- Have full right to work in the UK is a Must
