Job Title: Project Accountant
Location: Warwick - Hybrid working

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure accurate project forecasts, robust financial management, and effective risk assessment.
- Provide comprehensive financial support to project portfolio teams, analysing and reporting on project performance to facilitate decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial analysis, trend evaluation, and variance analysis to drive improved project performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting controls, company policies, and appropriate accounting standards.
- Deliver customer service excellence by providing timely financial performance insights to internal stakeholders and addressing project accounting queries.
- Collaborate with the wider business to provide support, financial expertise, and project knowledge as a trusted partner.
- Contribute to investment business cases, ensuring accurate financial data for spend analysis and tracking.
Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA), or working towards a relevant qualification.
- Experience in financial and management accounting/reporting, including planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Experience in project accounting, including investment appraisal.
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4 HANA preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Qualifications:
- Educated to graduate level and/or equivalent professional experience.
