This role is for a Software Systems Engineer who is looking to apply their experience in a new and challenging environment, working across the full development lifecycle. You will be responsible for the development and verification of designs to applicable standards (e.g. RTCA/DO-178).
Typical tasks will include:
Requirements Analysis, design, implementation and verification of software components.
Specification, design, integration, validation/verification and certification of safety-critical avionics.
Participate in design reviews.
The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Demonstrable breadth and depth of experience across engineering disciplines (Systems, Software Development).
Experience of significant parts of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through to verification and validation.
Embedded software development using procedural languages like C, Ada or Rust.
Good understanding of requirements capture, work package definition and effort estimation.
DOORS and/or Simulink experience is desirable.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
