There is x2 permanent positions either working 4 on 4 off - 6pm-6am (Nights) OR Mon-Fri 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
**THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT POSITIONS WITH DIFFERENT SHIFTS AVAILABLE - 6pm-6am OR 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm**
Salary:
6pm-6am - £28,285.28
6am-2pm/2pm-10pm - £29,693.28
Duties:
As a Technician, you will work collaboratively with the team to adhere to and improve Health & Safety procedures, challenging where necessary.
- Working to agreed operating standards in the preparation of the products.
- Co-ordinate and supervise the supporting operatives whilst ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping, hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices are achieved and maintained.
- You will also be required to maintain accurate process paperwork and monitor and record performance, reporting issues to engineers/Team Leaders.
- You will be responsible for carrying out first line investigations into any issues arising and will use judgement and initiative to maintain quality.
- You may also be asked to provide ad hoc operational cover.

- Be able handle a high level of responsibility, remaining calm and focused under pressure
- Have basic food hygiene trained in-house
- Have an awareness and understand of all CCP's for the Line
- Have a high level of numeracy and literacy - demonstrate accuracy in paperwork and in calculations.
- Have good Communication skills - working collaboratively with operatives and the Team Leader
- Have excellent awareness of Health and Safety
- Have an excellent timekeeping and attendance records

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years working within the food manufacturing sector.
