Position: Teaching Assistant

Duration: September 2024 - July 2025 (with potential for permanent position)

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 4.00pm

Salary: £90-95 per day

The school takes great pride in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. As part of the inclusion team, you will play a vital role in helping to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Inclusion Team to deliver tailored support to students with a range of special needs in class.
  • Assist students in class, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing their specific learning requirements.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to implement individual education plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the Inclusion Team and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desirable).Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
