We are seeking a Groundworks Contracts Manager to join a successful and expanding new build housing developer. This pivotal role involves overseeing groundworks across several sites in the South England. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional prepared to travel and manage multiple sites, ensuring high standards in groundworks, foundations, drainage, utilities, roads, and adoptions.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage 2 to 3 construction sites, focusing on groundworks and related infrastructure.
  • Oversee a team of groundworkers, ensuring efficient and quality completion of all ground-related tasks.
  • Coordinate the construction of roads, particularly connections to major roads, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring all groundworks are completed according to schedule and within cost constraints.
  • Liaise with other managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations across sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and provide reports on progress and issues to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Groundworks Contracts Manager or similar.
  • Strong capability in managing large-scale groundworks projects, including roads, foundations, and utilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel to various sites as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
