Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher

Location: Northamptonshire

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our team in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and supporting the academic and personal development of students in Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate students in Key Stage 2.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Utilize effective behaviour management strategies to promote a safe and conducive learning environment where students can thrive.
  • Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular involvement and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) students, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, assessment practices, and educational standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
