Support Services Assistant

The Position

The main responsibilities of the Support Services Trainee will provide entry level assistance and support within the Support Services Team. You will embark on a learning journey to develop foundational skills and knowledge in providing essential support to various departments within the organisation. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience within a support service role.

An outline of the job and what it will entail is stated below:

Job Management

Support Services Support

  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry.
  • Data removal
  • Filing
  • Document Management
  • Supporting the receptionist with incoming calls.

Marketing Support

  • Manage the administrative side of A1 hospitality. E.g., Golf, Rugby, Distillery, Race Day
  • Rugby scheduling, calendar invitations, collating email addresses, attendee invite monitoring.
  • Dating the A1 spreadsheet to reflect A1 attendance and response to
  • hospitality events.
  • Sending, monitoring, setting reminders and following up on any networking and staff events.
  • Managing LinkedIn postings of directors, scheduling 1 post a week person.
  • Support with monitoring and distributing PNC web enquiries.

Trainee System Development

  • To ensure all assignments are performed at the appropriate time and both internal and external deadlines are met.
  • To complete these assignments with a view to making the task as straight forward and efficient as possible.

Trainee Planning

  • To understand and work proactively towards achieving own contributions.

Trainee Business Development

  • To form good professional relationships with clients, creating an environment where clients feel happy to refer their contacts.
  • To build own network of professional contacts and encourage referrals.
  • To be part of business development events as required.

Qualifications

  • Methodical and accurate copy typing and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office / Word / Outlook/ Excel/ Xero
