About the Role:
As a Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Your mission will be to develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and lead a talented sales team. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Design and execute plans to increase revenue and achieve sales targets.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and cold calling.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor the sales team to reach their full potential.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns.
- Market Analysis: Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Industry Engagement: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Representation: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the food wholesale or distribution industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Results-oriented with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of food products and industry trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Any experience in the Halal food industry would be a bonus.
