Birchrose Associates are recruiting for a Locum Private Client Solicitor to assist at a reputable firm based in East Anglia for up to 3 months in duration.
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a reputable firm in the East of England to recruit for a Locum Private Client Solicitor to cover whilst the firm recruit on a permanent basis. The locum will need to be fully office based for the first two weeks of the assignment and thereafter hybrid working will be available.
This assignment is to start ASAP with an expected duration of 3 months with potential to extend beyond this point. The locum can work full time or part time, with a minimum of 4 days per week required.
Responsibilities
The successful Locum will manage a caseload of private client matters including:
- Probate matters
- Inheritance Tax
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Estate administration
- Wills
The locum will benefit from highly experienced secretarial support and support from other Fee Earners in the team.

Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience as a Private Client Solicitor
- Experience handling busy caseloads of private client work
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
