?? Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security and data protection assurance strategies.
- Provide expert advice on Data Protection/GDPR to stakeholders.
- Deliver tailored training programmes on Data Protection and GDPR to all staff.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments and maintain accurate records.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, offering effective remediation actions.
- Manage the data subject rights enablement process.
- Maintain appropriate privacy notices and produce analytical reports.
- Foster a positive relationship with the ICO.
?? Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing and embedding data privacy programmes.
- Strong knowledge of data protection risk assessment and categorization.
- Able to work independently, take ownership of challenges, and solve problems effectively.
- Proficient in maintaining organised and accessible records.
- Experienced in delivering information security and data protection training.
- Certified in GDPR, Data Protection, and IAPP.
- Familiarity with Information Security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Data Protection Officer responsibilities.
