Legal Secretary – Birmingham

A leading UK law firm is seeking to hire a Legal Secretary to provide secretarial support to their Housing Management and Property Litigation team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

  • Salary to £25,000
  • 9.30am to 5.30pm
  • Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 remote)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Secretary who has previous Legal Secretary / Legal PA / Admin experience gained from a reputable law firm.

Legal Secretary Responsibilities:

  • Diary management for Fee Earners.
  • Formatting documents.
  • Audio and copy typing.
  • Prepare travel itineraries and book travel / accommodation.
  • General administrative support for the department.
  • Receive phone calls, taking messages.
  • Document processing.
  • Produce bills and invoices.

Legal Secretary Requirements:

  • Previous Legal Secretary / Legal PA / Admin experience gained from a reputable law firm.
  • Minimum typing speed of 60WPM.
  • Experienced in both audio and copy typing.
  • Ability to format and paginate large documents.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
