EYFS Teaching Assistant

Working with a good Hornchurch school looking to recruit a EYFS Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with children that have various Special Education Needs.

As a suitably qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work as part of a team in a free flowing reception area of the school to ensure the children achieve and grow as individuals.

To start as soon as possible

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm (Term time only)

We are looking for a EYFS Teaching Assistant with an outstanding ability to support SEN children with their learning.

  • Supporting children through learning and play.
  • Experience and knowledge working with SEN children.
  • Working closely alongside the parents and teachers to ensure the students maximise their potential.
  • Understanding of phonics and EYFS learning is essential
  • Building intellectual, social, emotional and physical skills of students whilst promoting enjoyment of learning.
  • Working alongside the teacher to be a role model and guide for students, to motivate them to achieve.
  • Having high expectations for the behavioural and developing the students social skills .
  • A good team player.
  • Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
  • Relevant EYFS or L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
