Category Manager | Oxford | 6 Months | £375-£425 per day (umbrella) | Interim | Public Sector
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Oxford to recruit a Category Manager on an interim basis.
Within this role, you will be dynamically working across categories, picking up on urgent workload/ projects in need of completion.
The role offers a hybrid working policy; with the requirement to attend the office 1 day per week, with the other 4 days working home
Role:
- Lead on high value risk and complex procurements that cover a range of categories
- Lead and develop the delivery of procurement strategies and programmes of work
- Provide specialist knowledge in the application of all service and corporate contracts
- Maintain effective working relationships with service areas and provide guidance to senior managers
- Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis
Individual:
- Public Sector Procurement background
- Strong generalist with proven experience across a range of categories
- Experience within indirect purchasing
- Strong stakeholder management skills
