They are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing debts and ensuring timely payments from customers.
Duties
- Conduct credit checks on new customers
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Negotiate payment plans with customers
- Handle customer queries regarding outstanding invoices
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Analyse financial data to identify credit risks
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve payment issues
Experience
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in credit control or a similar financial role
- Proficiency in accounting software and data entry
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of financial services and telemarketing techniques
