As Whitestar grows, so does the need to take on additional team members - they are looking for an experienced, efficient and confident Electrical Installation Manager.

About you:

As an Electrical Installation Manager at Whitestar, you'll lead multiple projects, teams of engineers, and ensure site progress and safety. The focus is on delivering top-quality service and high-end products clients love. You'll manage key clients, conduct site surveys, and deliver projects to satisfaction. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll drive project objectives and manage workload, KPIs, and timescales.

  • You will need to hold the 18th Edition BS7671 Qualification and have 3 years' hands on industry experience.
  • Excellent client facing and internal communication.

  • Ability to multi-task and delegate work.
  • Time Management and budget control.
  • Planning, development, and quality checking.
  • Full Clean Driving License.
  • Experience Microsoft Office 365 and CRM's

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineers and projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Conduct quality checks on site work.
  • Create budgets, schedules, and payment applications.
  • Define project scopes and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
  • Handle site conditions, client needs, and material procurement.
  • Coordinate resources, equipment, and suppliers for materials.
  • Assess and minimize site risks with Health & Safety measures.
  • Maintain project documentation and budget control.
  • Ensure quality standards and project closure.
  • Conduct site safety briefings and inspections.
  • Support team development through training and tools.
  • Evaluate site requirements and report to Operations Director.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Liaise with clients and contractors for project discussions.
  • Supervise subcontractor teams.
  • Communicate regularly with Operations Team and clients.
  • Adapt to policy changes as needed.
  • Lead and ensure execution of site activities.
  • Enforce workplace safety regulations.
  • Attend required meetings.

This is not an exhaustive list and you must be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change from time to time to reflect business needs or for the company's continuous improvement.

Benefits:

  • £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 25 days holiday (you may need to be available over the Christmas Break, unless authorised holiday via the Operations Director)

This is a full-time permanent position. Head Office is based in Hemel Hempsted. You will work based on a 40-hour Standard Week - Flexible site hours to business needs. Company Credit Card (Limited) Receipt must be produced as proof of any purchases.
