Description
- Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and present financial reports to senior management.
- Oversee the performance of the fixed assets team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing accounting processes.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Play an active role in the annual audit process.
- Provide financial advice and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
