Data Quality Lead
Our client, a leading company in the Insurance industry, is looking for a permanent Data Quality Lead to join their Data team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data quality strategies and processes
- Ensure data standards and best practices are followed
- Develop a framework for data validation to assure data integrity for regulatory and strategic requirements
- Implement data validation rules in data quality tools ensuring the rules reflect data quality standards and requirements
- Analyse and identify data quality issues and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that summarise data quality metrics, trends, and improvements providing a clear view of data quality
Key Skills:
- Background in data quality management with experience in data validation rule implementation
- Experience carrying out data profiling
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of data quality and the impact on business objectives and risk management
- Strong understanding of data quality concepts and methodologies
- Experience with data profiling and data cleansing tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI, DQPro
