Hays are working with our client to recruit an Azure Technical Administrator into their team.
The role will be £550 per day inside IR35 and will be on a hybrid basis in Birmingham.
The main purpose of this role is:
- Providing /L3 support across the breadth of Azure services including but not limited to; Azure IAAS, PAAS, Terraform, Containers, Subscription and Tenant management, Azure DevOps, Azure security.
- Support Cloud migration from on-premises to Microsoft Azure.
- Automate workflows and processes using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or other tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability, and reliability issues.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met using Azure policies, roles, and permissions.
Skills and experience
- At least five years of experience in Azure administration or engineering
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, such as Azure Management, Terraform Containers, Logic Apps, Private Endpoints, and Azure Open AI, Azure Networking and WAF.
- Experience in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other tools for version control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools, such as Azure Security Center, or Azure Key Vault.
- Certification in Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.
