We're searching for a Pension and Benefits Specialist to join our client. The role can be worked on a 3 days working from home and 2 in the office basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid pensions experience who wants to dive into benefits—or for someone with a strong benefits background eager to learn more about pensions. You'll be the go-to expert, supporting all areas of the business and enjoying a balanced mix of both pensions and benefits work. You will be joining a supportive working environment that encourages personal and professional development. The role also offers exciting ongoing projects within the Payroll, Pensions Reward, and Benefits function to support on.
Overview of the role:
Pensions:

Ensure we're compliant with all pension regulations and handle changes (like contributions and new joiners).

Work with our external pension administrators to ensure we update their systems correctly and create long term lasting relationships.

Make changes to all pension related information - contribution increases, new joiners, contractual increases for example.

Submit payment files on time and communicate annual updates to members.

Help transition pension plans to a single provider over the next year.
Benefits:

Coordinate the annual pay review and bonus processes as well as life insurance and Health care renewals

Ensure compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage changes.

Assist in moving to a single Flexible Benefits solution.

Work collaboratively with the HR Systems Team to utilise the functionality

Be the main point of contact for HR and Payroll users, offering support and training when needed. Ensuring employees have a great experience in all matters relating to Pensions and Benefits/Compensation

Work closely with other teams and key stakeholders to improve processes
What we would like:
- Experience with Pensions and Benefits
- Good understanding of UK payroll/benefits and pension legislation.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
