Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

The GSA Treasury Change function plays a key role in helping Treasury achieve its overall aim to protect and commercially steer the firm's financial resources to enable execution of the Bank's strategy in all environments and meet Regulatory compliance.

You will work in conjunction with the Treasury Front to Back programme which is a multi-year transformation initiative to address the significant infrastructure challenges facing Treasury and Liquidity Risk Management. The key deliveries of the programme will include a fit-for purpose Treasury reporting platform.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategy including creation of user stories and backlog prioritisation
  • Review functional solutions & proposed architecture and create project & test plans
  • Support the Programme Director in providing analysis to facilitate senior stakeholder discussions
  • Review proposed Target Operating Model, gather requirements of controls, and perform impact assessments
  • Work collaboratively with the wider programme group to ensure alignment with programme values and objectives
  • Build, maintain, support, and develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance/Treasury/Technology to ensure alignment with client needs, business requirements and project management resources

Your skills and experience

  • Experience of analysing large datasets using tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau
  • Experience and understanding of large programmes of work across global teams ideally from within a Change Management or Investment Banking environment
  • Good approach to problem solving and process focused, and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with both managers, stakeholders, and peers
  • Experience of developing project and test plans as well as performing testing of large-scale projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury and Liquidity Management & Reporting
