Maternity Cover starting November 2024 and ongoing
We are currently working with a popular and high achieving secondary school in Brent who are looking for a creative English Teacher to join their esteemed English Department from November 2024. This is a Maternity contract on a full-time basis, and ongoing likely until the end of the academic year (TBC).
The role
As the suitable English teacher, you will leverage your exceptional skills and knowledge to guide students through the curriculum and ensure they acquire essential knowledge and confidence. Additionally, you will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of a well-respected English department. This position is ideal for a qualified teacher with experience teaching English at KS3/K34 and is looking for a new exciting challenge.
The Ideal Candidate
The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils' success and therefore the successful English Teacher must have the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An ability to teach English at both Key Stage 3 & 4
- A passion for English language and literature
- Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
- The desire and ability to work on an individual and team basis
- An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
