With over 60 years of success, a specialist plastics company offering a complete manufacturing service, from design all the way through to manufacture, is currently looking for an experienced Setter Technician to join their business.
This role will be responsible for the smooth running of the moulding department, making sure jobs are completed on time and to spec.
***Up to £40,000, working days Monday to Friday***
As an Injection Moulding Setter Technician your duties will include:
- Carrying out tool changes.
- Tool sampling.
- Optimising cycle times.
- Part inspection.
- Troubleshooting process/moulding/machine issues.
- Participation in continuous improvement practices.
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Technician, the ideal candidate will:
- Be a skilled plastic Injection Moulding Setter / Technician.
- Have experience with a range of materials and knowledge of their properties.
- Be experienced with tool changing and condition setting.
- Possess strong trouble shooting skills and be able to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Have experience of process optimisation, resulting in time and/or money savings.
