Music Teacher - Salford - January start

Prospero work closely with a large secondary school in Salford who are seeking a Qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their team in January. The role will be temporary until they break for summer in July, but will then become permanent. This role is a full-time position, and all candidates are required to hold (QTS) Qualified Teacher Status, if you do not hold QTS you will unfortunately not be considered for this role.

The successful candidate will
be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management.
have recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school
have experience teaching both practical and theory parts of GCSE music

Minimum rate of pay £162.31 per day

Hours 8:00AM 4:00PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, SCITT or equivalent

Previous experience teaching Music in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, but training can be provided)

Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, but training can be provided)

Music teaching experience in the UK desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional teaching related references
