The role:

Novum Structures UK require a capable Project Manager with applicable experience in the facade, structural steel or roofing industry to lead the delivery of projects in London and the Southeast.

As a Project Manager at Novum Structures, you will play a key role in the successful execution of cutting-edge architectural projects, focusing on complex roof and façade designs in steel, glass, and membrane products. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire process from sales handover to project completion, ensuring that each phase runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your leadership will inspire a collaborative team of engineers, buyers, and installers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and suppliers, both in the UK and International Novum entities.

Your experience and passion for highly engineered structures, combined with strong project management skills, will enable you to consistently deliver high-quality results within budget and on schedule.

The Candidate:

  • An enthusiasm for delivering technically challenging projects.
  • A degree level or equivalent qualification in a construction related subject.
  • Experience in project managing façade, structural steel and/or roofing projects, or a similar transferable discipline.
  • Natural leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
  • The ability to deal with commercial and contractual issues effectively and manage risk.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Solid ability to understand construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Based within a reasonable commutable distance of London.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead a varied team to deliver high-end architectural projects, with values ranging from £200k to £10 million plus.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution through design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and final handover.
  • Take ownership of contract management, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance with the support of the commercial, purchasing and quality departments.
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination among all contract stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, architects, and suppliers.
